Once a contribution has been deleted from Crimson, the deletion can’t be reversed. The deleted contribution will need to be re-entered into the database.
1. Find the donor’s record using the Search functionality in the People menu and open the record.
2. Once in the donor’s record, go to the view under the section and find the contribution record you want to delete. The Statement view allows you to see and undo adjustments.
Note: Make sure that the contribution record you’re trying to delete doesn’t have any adjustments made to it. You can’t delete a contribution that has any adjustments and you will receive an error message if you attempt to delete it.
If the contribution that you want to delete has any adjustments, select the adjustment record and click the button. A message will appear asking, “Are you sure to undo Adjustment?” Click Yes. A confirmation message will appear stating, “Undo adjustment successful”.
3. Once you’ve confirmed that the contribution record you want to delete doesn’t have any adjustments, click the button. A message will appear asking, “Are you sure to delete Gift?” Click Yes.
4. A confirmation will appear stating, “Successfully Deleted!”
