Each transaction in your CrimsonFiler FEC Report must have a unique Tran ID. Everything that is recorded in Crimson is assigned a unique Transaction ID when loaded into CrimsonFiler.
If you see this:
It means you have at least one duplicate Tran ID, and you should take the following steps to correct the error:
1. Click on the Duplicate Tran ID A list of all duplicate Tran ID’s will appear. If needed, you can click to review them in Excel.
2. Click the This will open up the record so you can edit the Transaction ID. The ID should be unique for the report.
3. When you are finished editing the record, click the blue button.
4. Repeat for other duplicate Tran ID’s found.
