Crimson users can utilize the Bulk Redesignation Tool to quickly redesignate a donor's contributions between campaign cycles in their Crimson database.
Using Bulk Redesignation Tool
- Go to the Donor Profile of the donor you would like to designate. Please see Crimson: People Search for further information on how to search for people records in Crimson.
- On their profile, click on the giving to the Giving History panel and scroll down to the bottom half of the page. In the top right corner, select All then View.
- In the bottom right corner, click on
to open up the Bulk Redesignation Tool.
- In the bottom right corner, click on
- A new window will open up and on this page you can begin choosing which donations need to be redesignated.
- To select a donation, please check the box under the Selected column.
- As you select gifts, you will see the amount as well as the total amount.

- To select a donation, please check the box under the Selected column.
- Once you have selected all the donations, please include the Fund Code they need to be redesignate to as well as the Adjustment Date.
- When all items have been filled out, click on
to complete the bulk redesignation.
